Sh'lua finds a replacement, and after a bit of interrogation, N'vanik accepts him and approves Sh'lua's transfer. Meledei comes across the record of a young boy's death, and she and N'vanik talk about how sad it is.
Z'ku does his best to charm Meledei over lunch. Meledei offers to help Cosani be a better dancer, and Cosani shares some of her personal issues.
On the romance front both Ri'len and Sorsha are quite happy that Monilath caught Roseth. Meledei goes to Jozia to get a refill on the contraceptive tea. D'ren tries to persuade B'vin to look for someone that will appreciate him, but B'vin isn't ready for a relationship.
A'ton finds the site of a long lost shipwreck. Later, Meledei notices the brownrider seems to be exhausted. A'ton has been pushing himself and his dragon to the limit, and Ri'len comes across them after the pair has passed out.
T'kob wins Zelle's flight and notices there is something very wrong with her. Has anyone else noticed? Will she find help, or continue her addiction?
