"Child, child, there not been much to say. With all the hullaboo over tha kidnapped Lady while back, things were so focused on safety that I think troublemakers be scared ta do anythin'. Karhal and Loella had their baby a bit ago." The old auntie glanced around and leaned in to whisper in her raspy voice. "Odd she is, though. Seems to have somethin' fer dragons. Some say a special rapport. Mebbe she hears them." The auntie straightened and cleared her throat. "Hard ta say though."
The rocking chair creaked as she eased back into it, then began to sway forward and back. "Rethisa and Demir married, but it sounds like they've been having troubles already. Word is she's already pregnant, nae even with his babe. Is it? I cannae say fer sure. Guess we'll have to see when the babe comes, aye?"
After a moment of silence, the old woman shook her head. "That's all that's halfway interestin' fer now, but somethin' tells me more will crop up. Somethin's comin, I can smell it. Ye just wait and see."
