Plenty is happening in Amber Hills, what with the new tavern opening up and the Lord Holder's daughter being invited to the Smith Hallmaster's
wedding! Of course, that's not to say that we could use plenty more personas to play with!
Soon-to-be Tavern Master Bhervehan comes to find the Lord Holder's son, Royah, to invite him to the Tavern Opening Party the night before the official opening is set. They joke about who will need the tavern more after the birth of Royah's fourth child - him or his wife! He sounds excited to be invited and will be sure to attend.
It remains to be seen if the new, fancy Vintner Hall Tavern will choke out Amber Hill's own modest little tavern. Perhaps more reason for the locales to be unhappy about the influx of new people to their valley... Already rumors are flying as three of the kitchen women discuss dragonriders, drink, and companionship...
Mariss has a truly teen moment when she notices a rather large and ugly pimple on her forehead the size of a mountain which will detract everyone from ever noticing her stunning personality and will make the residents of Amber Hills hate her even more! Or at least that's what
she's convinced will happen, though her father, Steward Cyrek, is not buying it. What will Cyrek do with this new Mariss? She certainly isn't the same girl he brought over from Amythest Cliff...
Benaroy and Zelanka share a quiet moment in the hall after the formidable headwoman takes some new drudges to task. As Benaroy observes "I may have the title, but I think everyone knows you are the one who truly Lords over this Hold!" It certainly seems Zelanka has the Lord Holder's full attention as they talk about grandchildren and the
joys of motherhood.
Why not write a persona and join in on the fun! Benaroy still hasn't named an heir to succeed him and his time is running short...
