The old auntie grinned, black holes where teeth once lived now marking their territory in between those that were left. "Mirdella, I think she be all unhappy about her brother's marriage. O' course, ev'ryone knows bout that babe. Seems ta me either tha two have been dancin' b'fore tha weddin', or she's quick with someone else's child. I tell ya, that Mirdella, she wants ta see that hold in someone else's hands. I will say, Mirdello was surprised ta find out Rethisa was already pregnant and even stated he thought Demir wasn't tha sort. Makes me wonder again 'bout the baby's parentage."
"Speakin' of Rethisa, she done gone and had tha child. Gave the child a name that included part o' his, so mebbe the girl be his offspring after all. Hard ta say, wit' tha timing and all." The old auntie shrugged. "Not sure tha Lord's heard bout tha babe yet...it will be interesting to see what happens..."
