K'deren and Anji have diner together, and admit that they've each been curious enough to find out where the other's weyr is.
Meledei runs into the Weyrleader on the beach, and N'vanik encourages her not to try too hard to live up to other people's standards. N'vanik meets a dolphineer and invites her back to his weyr. Usually he reserves his bed for he and Talryne alone, but lately he's been allowing more and more exceptions.
Traelyn and B'ram bring up their past, then regret it. They also have another one of their frequent fights, but both of them know the evening will end with them sharing a bed. They need each other, and they know each other all too well.
D'ren slips up in morning drills, and admits to Eleada that he hadn't slept well. She makes him promise that he will talk to someone about it next time he can't sleep, even if he comes to her in the middle of the night.
K'hetah visits Zelle, and he promises to bring her a bubbly pie. Poor Zelle feels like she'll never get out of the infirmary.
The junior weyrlings will soon be making their first flights, and then moving into their own weyrs. The last sevenday in the barracks won't be a quiet one!
