Greetings from sunny Dolphin Cove!
N'vanik pays a visit to some of his kids and learns that Briata's son can hear dragons. Lorican delivers the gift Cyradis commissioned for N'vanik.
After they hear about K'deren leaving, N'vanik and Talryne bring cookies to Cyradis and try to cheer her up. B'nell also checks on the Weyrwoman. Reyela visits K'don to see how he's doing after his father leaves. Poor K'don is worried about losing Cyradis's love.
Blue and Corland practice signing. And kissing! R'lor, Corland, Ryvankal, and Blue chat about being smiths as they work in the forge.
Oriene meets Obrosin and he offers to teach her about knots. Cirina gets a visit from her brother after she's left standing yet again. Cirina also talks with fellow disappointed Candidate Oriene.
L'fael's adoptive family looks on and cheers as he Impresses green Sojanth.
R'lor visits O'rosin in the infirmary and tries to give him some advice about his bond with Aeoluth.
At the Feast, friends Saedyna, Cirina, and Oriene chat, but Tirraze seems distant. What's going on with her?
Oriene goes to talk with her and finds out Tirraze is feeling disconnected from reality after her Impression.
The Weyrlings feed their dragons the morning after the Hatching. There's some tension when B'lyse and C'rand remember that C'pier will be in class with them.
Cirina checks on the injured O'rosin and brings him some snacks from the Feast. She offers to help with whatever he needs. The next morning she helps feed and bathe Aeoluth.
Skadith and Aeoluth play rough as their riders try to keep things from going too far.
O'dyn has a lot of big feelings when he moves into his own weyr.
N'vanik talks to Gilbek again and decides to let him out of the cliffside weyr -- at least for a while, under guard.
