Amber Hills is in the throws of winter, but it seems that has not deterred some of its residents!
We are lucky enough to welcome Alasha to Amber Hills Hold this month, though who knows exactly how long she'll stay if her mother and birth father have their way! A'berso and his son A'son came to the cothold to visit Alasha and her mother, Murasha. They brought with them a flit egg for Alasha, which hatched into a beautiful bronze that she named Zephyr. Though her step-father, Desamin, and siblings do not appreciate the fact that she was given such a rare gift, Alasha loves her father's gift dearly. Murasha would feel much better if her daughter would go to the Weyr and join her birth father there, but the young woman refuses, not wanting to leave her mother behind. Desamin seems to have plans for her, though. He has invited Ranillis and his son Bortalis to visit Amber Hills. Could it be he intends to marry her off?
Snow still covers the ground, but surely that does not mean all our residents have to go into hiding! Why not go out of doors and enjoy it! Or why not make some new friends while you're hiding from winter's chill? You know you want to!
