Amber Hills finally has a Lord Holder! Not everyone is pleased, but the newly named Lord Zathris is certainly making friends in his Hold!
Zathris spent an evening drinking out with Nimroy. The friends had a chat about the joys of married life versus those of being a young single man. It seems Nimroy is not ready to settle down yet, but he hopes someday in the future he will be. Zathris, on the other hand, is more than happy in his married life, though a night out with the boys is nice once in a while.
Rikka wandered back to the Hold in order to borrow some tools from the Technicians workshop. Zathris spotted her and mistook her for someone else. It's nice to see that even though Rikka has left the Hold there are no hard feelings! They have a nice chat before she sauntered back to the Hall.
Shadux and Zelanka, however, had a much more serious talk about the new Lord Holder. It seems neither is pleased with the choice, but not because of the man himself. They don't like the succession breaking away from the male line, though Shadux pointed out in a few generations they could and probably would be reunited. Still, it was all the changes that they were having trouble with. The real question is, are they the only ones feeling this way?
