Physical Description of Persona:
N'kayden has his mother’s face with his father’s size, although he’s yet to completely fill out into his lanky frame. The effect is one that most would describe as “boyishly handsome.” His eyes are a vibrant, warm brown and tend to hold a bit of mischief in them. His facial hair, mostly just light stubble at this point, is starting to add a bit of framing and 'manliness' to his face His hair is long enough to be in his eyes, which he uses to special effect when combing his fingers through his hair.

Emotional Description of Persona:
N'kayden has grown up hearing his praises sung, especially from his father. This has had the inevitable effect of making N'kayden assume he’s probably the greatest and most special person who has ever lived. That his destiny is to be the greatest dragonrider on Pern, he has no doubt. Despite this exaggerated sense of self-worth, N'kayden has a soft spot for people. He likes people and making friends. He simultaneously believes he’s the best while reassuring and reaffirming others of their potential greatness as well.

Easygoing and gregarious, N'kayden makes friends easily, but while he has many friends, he wouldn’t say that any of them are his _best_ friend. After all, it would take someone of equal greatness to really interest him in a deep friendship.

History of Persona:
Having the most interesting parents on Pern certainly had its effects on N'kayden growing up. A weyrbrat through and through, N'kayden spent more time with his parents than most others he knew, mostly because of his father’s dedication to being a great dad to him and his younger sister. Even though his parents embarrass him most of the time, N'kayden does love them, and while his sister Aydhara can be the _most_annoying_person_ever… he’d still die for her if the occasion called for it. Familial duty and love were the most important things that N'kayden retained from being raised by N’kevyn and Aydhan… and Lower Cavern’s creche.

When the family transferred to Barrier Lake Weyr, so his mother could be the Weyrwoman’s Second, Nikhayden wasn’t exactly thrilled. At nineteen, he could have stayed behind and chosen his own path, but that’s where that ingrained familial duty came in. He couldn’t let his family go without him, could he? And so, he too transferred to Barrier Lake Weyr as a Candidate.

In M13 on d1 of Turn 11, Nikhayden became N'kayden when he Impressed to brown Aberath.

Dragon's Name: Aberath
Dragon's Age: 1

Description of Dragon:
Aberath is a cedar brown in hue that fades out to mahogany undertones beneath his wingsails, belly, and tail. There's one swirly patch of the mahogany color over his right eyeridge that makes him look as if he is raising an eyebrow - if he had one!

Aberath appreciates that N'kayden thinks they are the best and greatest pair to ever impress, but he also enjoys poking fun at his rider's expense. He is a humorous and easily entertained brown.
