Physical Description of Persona:
N’kevyn is big. He’s tall and broad and would look right at home swinging a hammer at a forge. He has dark hair that’s long and thick- and he’ll deny that there are strands of gray hair popping up more and more recently. He has a beard that varies between neatly trimmed and shaggy, depending on how much he’s trying to annoy his weyrmate. He wears a wedding ring, and likes to dress up for special occasions.
Emotional Description of Persona:
N'kevyn was always almost dangerously confident, and stubborn, prone to adventurous mishaps that never seemed to phase him. He can be charming when he wants to be, but he often prefers to be belligerent. He makes up for it somewhat by being brave, and willing to put in work that needs to be done, although if it doesn’t strictly need to be done, he’s happy to find an excuse to laze about.
He’s an affectionate and physical man, prone to giving back slaps and hugs. He’s a collector, with more mugs than any one man could need and a wardrobe that takes up exactly half the generous closet in his and his weyrmate’s quarters. He’s a family man, more than is typical for dragonriders, and delights in embarrassing his now teenage children.
He’s a flirt, although the wedding ring he wears clues the recipients of his flirting into his devotion to his weyrmate.
History of Persona:
He wasn’t born at the weyr, but he was young enough when his parents moved there that he doesn’t remember anything else, and he grew up running wild with the Weyrbrats. He always said he’d be a dragonrider, though it’s unlikely anyone would have pegged him for a bronzerider- he was cocky and confident, but rarely the leader. He was prone to misadventure as a child, and had more than his share of trips in and out of the infirmary for various scrapes and cuts.
Like all the eager weyrbrats, he stood at the first clutch he was able to (and would have snuck into prior ones if he could have gotten away with it). He didn’t Impress at that one, but that didn’t put him off. Good things come to those who wait.
And they did, when a particularly large egg hatched into an equally large bronze. He thrived in weyrlinghood, putting on mass and strength and proving to be fairly adept at being a dragonrider. Armed with the confidence of a young bronzerider, he turned his attention to wooing another of the weyrbrats, starting an off and on relationship with a young Aydhan (mostly ‘on’ for his part) . When she fell pregnant with their son, he insisted on formalizing their relationship, complete with wedding rings. A few turns later, they had a daughter. The youngest was still a baby when he temporarily ‘lost’ his wife to a gold dragon and the distractions of weyrlinghood, but he was waiting patiently when the gold pair graduated, and they’ve been together since.
Content with his dragon and his family, he’s never made much of a push for a position of authority, though he does his duties well. Since his children aged into candidacy, he’s taken to whittling and other hands-on hobbies to fill his spare time.

Dragon's Name: Avicath
Dragon's Age: 24
Dragon's Colour: Bronze
Description of Dragon:
Avicath is a bright, almost coppery colored bronze. He didn’t originally have much in the way of markings, but the places on his hide where he’s been injured have scarred over in slightly different shades, leaving an almost pretty striped effect in places. He’s a bulky bronze, on the larger end of the size spectrum, clearly built for strength and endurance instead of speed.
An easy going, mellow bronze, it takes a lot to get Avicath moving on rest days, the bronze preferring to lounge around and soak up the sun. He’s friendly, in a lazy kind of way, and tends to be a big hit with children, content to lay there quietly for braver children to climb on him.
