New people are arriving to Emerald Falls Hold:
Jayzine, River Bluff's former Headwoman, came with her family and was offered the job as Hold's Headwoman. How does she settle in, when there's still resentment towards weyrfolk?
Holder Reven hired a new Steward, Verran. His family arrived later and got introduced to Arippa. Looks like everything is not well in Verran's family.
Lady Felyna's pregnancy was progressed to the point it was her time to deliver, but things turned out the way that Master Miranek was forced to perform surgical delivery. Unbeknown to them all, Felyna had been pregnant with twins but the other baby had died in womb. Miranek was able to save the surviving baby but Lady Felyna didn't make it. Corowal is once again widower with a motherless baby. This time he's got a new son.
Jayzine is been writing letters with K'ran.
Searchriders also visited the Hold and picked out Dessa, who is distant cousin to Corowal himself. The young, recently promoted journeywoman harper was more than happy to leave the Hold.
