Reports for Sunstone Seahold

September 24th 2019

Things have been active in Sunstone Seahold lately, with several events that have caused both distress and joy. Humari woke after the runner accident only to find that she was having problems with her speech. After seeing a Masterhealer, and after time had passed, she begins to recover.

Taril's search for his missing ledgers continues. He questions Arnolt about who he saw the day of Humari's accident. He continues to question Mulich, a merchant, and his pet Harper, Jakin about the ledgers, as they contain evidence of those who have large debts to him and his own secret smuggling business. Taril is attacked by the woman Vinalee, survives and then searches her cot, finding evidence that someone blackmailed her into attempting to kill him.

Taril's activities has brought forth an unknown enemy. This enemy attacks Humari in the infirmary, attempting to smother her. The traumatic incident forces Taril to admit to his wife his complete business interests. Distraught, feeling betrayed and unsafe, Humari leaves Sunstone and Taril to stay at Taril's family hold with their son.

Bryvin, with an understeward's assistance, discovered that Stenlis was not honest about the will left by Yriadha's father and that Yriadha's brother, the sole heir had been killed in a fire in the family home along with his entire family. According to the will, this leaves Yriadha's inheritance in the control of her current Lord Holder until the time that she marries or dies. Bryvin and Pifer discover that the marriage contract that Stenlis provided was inaccurate and invalid.

Bryvin, Yriadha, Polson, and Taril work together and a wedding takes place, but shortly after Stenlis attacked. He wakens in the ruins, beaten, bloody, and faced with Bryvin and Yriadha. After admitting that he was responsible for Yriadha's brother's death and admitting the crime against her, Bryvin kills him. Using Polson and one of Taril's ships, a shipwreck is faked, disposing of Stenlis, with Yriadha the only "survivor".

Upon her arrival, Riadem walks in on Bryvin comforting Yriadha, and finally notices some similarities between Yavin and Bryvin. Bryvin later allows Riadem to question him, admitting to his relationship to Yriadha and Yavin. Riadem is less than pleased.

Danrina tells Bryvin that she is pregnant and it is his child.

Bryvin reaches out to an old contact to assist him in locating and retrieving his daughter from Dragonsfall Weyr. Lusilk initially protests that she's retired but agrees to assist on the condition that it settles all debts between them. There seems to be a history between Bryvin and this mysterious woman.

Lusilk goes to the Weyr and using guile and threats, takes Bryvin's daughter along with Vreena back to the Sunstone. Lusilk is paid well for her services and receives news that her own worries are far away. Bryvin welcomes his daughter's return and questions whether or not to keep the name Xeladrie gave her.
