Enali turns her charms on Terren, planning to use him in the future. While watching children in the creche, Enali has some truly terrible thoughts about what she might do.
R'fal talks to Aviday about the argument he had with J'ackt and realizes he made a mistake. Aviday encourages him to apologize.
A'vel, T'lin, V'rel, and A'dryn enjoy a picnic with some of their green and bluerider friends. As their anniversary approaches, T'lin remembers the day he asked V'rel to weyrmate.
Furayl arrives at the Weyr and is overwhelmed. Enamra and Aviday show him around and Enamra brings him to the infirmary for a check up. Weyrhealer Urlene determines his health problems are due to a deficiency and can be corrected with diet.
M'gan asks Z'ku to help T'ner integrate into the Wing and gives him the opportunity to lead a nine. Alina speaks to her Wingleader about her suspicions, that the man she's been getting the weather report from isn't who he claims to be. He might in fact be holdless.
N'vanik and J'ackt tell Cyradis about the information J'ackt learned from Alyena. They make plans to protect the Weyr from attack, and to protect the Weyrwoman especially -- who reveals she's pregnant.
