"Ach, me back." The auntie shifts a bit in an attempt to get more comfortable. "winter does not do me joints any good, ya know." She perks up though and a gap toothed grin makes more wrinkles upon her face. "Ha! Come to me fer news, do ya? Unfortunately there's not much t'tell. Amber Hills has been fairly quiet, though everyone is starting to look forward to the Gather. Oh the Gather? Tis on the twenty first of the month, dontcha know? Aye, ye should come. I'll be stayin' right by the fire, but were I younger, I'd be out in the snow havin' a grand ol' time."
She rocks back in her chair and lets her eyes close halfway. "Other than that, Corowal, Lord of Emerald Falls and his Lady came to visit. Aye, and Lord Zathris and Lady Benani greeted them quite nicely. I saw the way Lady Felyna looked at them, though. I could almost hear her thoughts. Her marriage t'Corowal was not one of love, but Zathris' and Benani's was. Perhaps she wants somethin' akin to what they have?"
"I know the Lady and Lord of Amber Hills love each other dearly - at least, it seems so. Rumour has it they're tryin' for a baby, have been almost since they were married." The thought makes a chuckle rasp from between the old auntie's lips. "Lady Benani especially seems quite keen on it, though Lord Zathris, somethin' tells me he's not quite so eager, though I'm sure he's eager enough in the tryin'!" The chuckle turns into a cackle and the old woman slaps her knees. "That's all I got fer ya', but I'm sure that there will be more happen' soon, so you just come to old auntie next time, eh?"
