"First off seems that one o' Benani's maids is ta be havin' a baby. Benani's chosen that Halah ta train up fer tha job. I hope she's up fer it. Looks like it's an immediate thing too.
There's been talk o' trainin' canines ta help with guardin' duties. I heard Zathris told Zelanka about it. I donna think she's too keen on tha idear and said so. Mebbe there'll be more work ta do cause o' them critters.
Yanley's been actin' strange as of late. Been gettin' sick real easy like. Dunno about you, but when a woman gets sick that easy, even after someone else has been sick, that usually means one thing, dontcha know?
Zathris has always been more open minded 'bout women. Brought a marriage proposal ta that gal, Faldrimme, and then found out what she really offered. Said she didnae have ta accept it and he'd support her if she wanted ta go elsewhere! Don't that beat all?
Zelanka talked ta Karhal bout tha way he's been neglectin' himself. Course the topic came around ta other things, including secrets. Mebbe some things aren't so secret.
Nae long after Loella goes ta visit Karhal and do somethin' ta take care o' him a little. She also brought up a bit o' pain in regards ta his wife, but mebbe he needed it, eh? But then, a few days later, she makes a confession. Seems Loella has some feelings fer Karhal. That may make things a bit more complicated.
Zelanka and Loella ain't tha only ones concerned about Karhal. Chupsin broached the subject about Karhal's self neglect which tha guard didn't take too kindly to.
Karhal ran inta Daihmin and tha two chatted about things goin' on about tha hold. There are things afoot, but nae sure exactly what. Tha captain then asked Daihmin if he'd be interested in bein' a handler fer tha new dogs and Daihmin accepted.
Speakin' o' Daihmin, earlier that day, he was saviour ta Sinla. Seems there were some men who had a bit too much ta drink then took a bit too much interest in tha lass. Course, there's more than one reason fer him ta come ta her rescue.
