As most of you may have heard, River Bluff will be getting a new Weyrleader soon. Any member who is off mentorship and is not currently on probation is eligible to try for the position! The only exception is if you already have a Weyrwoman, since club rules allow a writer to have either a Weyrwoman or a Weyrleader, but not both.
For those interested, please e-mail the Council by December 15th! This is an L1 position which is very important and essential to an active Weyr and wonderful plots!
In other news, River Bluff now has another female resident! K'lvin and Bahji welcomed a daughter into the world. Both mother and daughter are alive, though mother is healing from the ordeal and shouldn't have any more children. We'll see how well that goes over. A'kades went to congratulate K'lvin while Bahji was recovering. The two bronzeriders seemed to get along well enough.
A'dryn comes to tell D'lorn that he's finally taken care of his virginity. The greenrider survived the experience and it seemed all was well, despite the fact that he still has a few misgivings about being attracted to men. D'lorn is just glad that milestone has been reached. Hopefully the future flight is easier.
The weyrlingmaster sits down with A'kades to talk about the weyrlings. Will Lanniya and A'dryn get through Blooding? It's coming soon.
Candidate Carin gets into a little bit of a verbal fight when he overhears some other candidates talking about his mother, Ciara, and not in a good way. His friend talks him down though before he does anything stupid. He also goes to see his mother and his new baby brother. It's a sweet moment.
Vilarth consents to an egg touching but unfortunately, things don't go so well and she overreacts forcing the candidates like Carin, Feydal, and the rest to leave. She apologizes to A'kades and lets him know they can try again later. The eggs are safe, though!
Again more candidates people! We need them!
Wingsecond F'lin goes to talk to Y'gel to see if he can get the older bronzerider to back him with the Weyrleader to secure his new rank. They discuss dragon injuries and other wing issues.
He is also seen speaking with Lanniya-or trying to talk some sense into her. The goldrider seems bent on trying to time it to save her parents. Hopefully F'lin can keep her from endangering her dragon. Will she wait? Will she do it and risk her dragon again?
Y'gel is also seen with his weyrmate, son, and fosterdaughter. It seems all is well despite Nisheyl's teething. They plan a future outing. Briata is looking well pleased and has shifted into her role as fostermother easily.
