Reports for River Bluff Weyr

March 2nd 2017

Life at River Bluff has been interesting over the past few months, especially as it relates to the gold dragon population. Weyrleader K'ran and Weyrwoman's Second Lenala attended a Conclave of all of the Southern Weyrs. The topic of dragon bloodlines was discussed and several arrangements were made to transfer junior goldriders around. This means that Lanniya, River Bluff's youngest gold and Hears-All, has been transferred away from the Weyr. Is this a punishment for the disappearing act of a few months back?

Arriving to replace her is Genna, a junior goldrider from Dragonsfall - and a person of great interest to the Weyrleader. Rumors are flying about what this gold transfer will mean for River Bluff. Will Genna provide the assistance that Lenala needs? What will happen between her and the Weyrleader?

Vilarth's most recent clutch of weyrlings has just completed their Blooding and survived with no losses. Healthy new dragons joining the wings is always a cause for celebration. And speaking of celebration, what's been going on at the pre-Blooding parties?? C'rin, a weyrling from this clutch, has been spending a lot of time with Riveenata. Is this the start of a good friendship or is new love blossoming?

With her last clutch graduating, Vilarth is likely to rise again soon. Her last few flights have been won by different dragons. What's going to happen this time?

Meanwhile, the new Headwoman Jayzine has been settling in just fine. Her daughter is working with the Bakers and might apprentice soon. That's quite a change from Hall life!

There's a good deal of intrigue
