Big news: There will be a hatching at River Bluff this month! Get ready all! Plenty of eggs from the senior queen and bronze Nikornath to Impress. Who will the lucky weyrlings be? Many are wondering who will manage to get the gold egg. Stay tuned!

D'lorn and K'mai returned to the Weyr after dropping off supplies for the stricken holders of Iron Lake. The Hold had a firehead epidemic that ended up taking the Holder's life along with that of his lady.
Weyrling Riveenata flew a bit higher during her first flight with her dragon and was disciplined by a very unhappy Weyrlingmaster Third D'lorn. The greenrider meted out punishment. Hopefully it won't happen again.
D'lorn and U'das spoke and decided the bronzerider could take on more responsibility, assisting with the leadership training for the young bronzeriders. With his experience, he'd be a natural for the job.
Aldryn and D'lorn also talk about what the candidate might be interested in if he doesn't Impress at this Hatching or at any other. The boy didn't take the possibility of disappointment very well.
Candidate Aldryn also meets a fellow candidate, Lanniya. The young girl introduces him to parts of Weyrlife that he would rather ignore, it seems. You can take the boy out of the Hold, but not the Hold out of the boy.
While grounded, Rhosyn takes the time to work on her dragonhealing and is pleased with the results when she is able to help an injured dragon. Weyrdragonhealer Y'gel is on hand to observe of course.
Once again, K'lvin sees Eirlira act disrespectfully toward Bahji but the Wingleader doesn't report it, believing he doesn't have enough evidence, only a feeling. The weyrling seemingly has the same attitude towards the former holder. How far will she go?
Sitting down and chatting, Reeva and Eioval gossip about the Weyrwoman's scandalous late night behavior and other things before promising to engage in some scandalous late night behavior of their own later.
Lenala and Rhosyn discuss brass tacks including the Hatching to end all Hatchings that they are busy planning. The goldriders discuss concerns such as the future goldrider that will Impress. Who will it be?
