Reports for Harper Hall

May 6th 2008

Life goes on as usual in the Harper Hall. People seem to pretty much be
going around their usual business.

Usual business for Journeyman Ojisan's wife, Larken, includes continuing
her affair with the handsome young brownrider, M'tone. While her
husband if off at practice, they have a clandestine meeting. M'tone
laments the fact that they cannot be seen publicly together, and asked
Larken to convince her husband to give her a restday so they can spend
it together in a place where no one would know them, or her husband.
Larken is keen on that idea, and suggests convincing Ojisan to visit his
son for a few days... Will Ojisan fall for it? Or are they destined to
stay hidden forever in the brownrider's weyr?

Larken is not the only Hall resident mixing with the dragonriders.
Master Shaelis runs into Wingleader K'hetah in the corridors of the
Hall. He assures her he is not lost, but merely nosy. She offers to
give the bronzerider a private tour of the Hall, much to his delight.

Almonteo had a rather interesting meeting with Master Eilomar. The two
discussed life in the Weyr versus life at Emerald Falls. It seems
Almonteo might have a chance to meet with the new Emerald Falls Lord
Holder. Could there be a reconciliation in the works? It seems the
Hallmaster is suddenly very interesting in the outspoken Master's
opinions on the subject...

Master Thanja is keeping busy as usual. She had to have a difficult
discussion with one of her young apprentices whose dream of being a
type-setter seem to have been shattered. It appears he has developed a
rather nasty allergy to the inks used. She offers advice for different
options he might consider. The Printer Master also finds out that one
of the journeymen had been lax in their duties! Some young apprentices
used one of the machines without supervision and have seemed to have
broken something. Quistador is trying to fix it, but Thanja wants to
know who is responsible.

Month 10 is now open... We're coming up on the time to start talking
about Turn End celebrations! There will be plenty of things for the
Harpers to do in the coming months. Why not PC a Harper and join in on
the fun?
