Turns End is coming up fast and preparations are starting to get underway for the festivities! This might be a good time to get involved at the Harper Hall.

Shock and gasps abounded I'm sure when it was discovered that Hallsecond Thanja and the bane of women crafters (and just about everyone for that matter), Choral Master Eilomar, actually found they have something in common! They both have dragonriders in their family. The two had a surprisingly nice, civil chat about that, and their mutual wish that their children would visit more. Someone, hurry quick and check the temperature in /between/, it just might be a balmy day!

Hallmaster Almonteo met with his Hallsecond to try to decide on a theme for this Turn End's festivities. A suggestion box had been put out and the Hall's residents contributed their thoughts and ideas. Some were more helpful than others, though both Masters admired the artwork of one of the own who seems rather displeased at the friendly relationship shared between the Hallmaster and the Weyrleader. Klah was ordered and you can bet they worked long and hard to make the perfect choice.

The Hallmaster also went to Emerald Falls races to meet up with the Lord Holder there. Though watching the runner was the excuse to meet, it seems as though both men were sizing each other up. The Harper Hall has been imposing itself on the Weyr's kindess for more than a Turn now since the arsons destroyed their Hall. Might they actually be considering a reconciliation with their former home?
