Physical Description of Persona:
Dacraslar is about 5'9" tall. He is surprisingly strong for his slight build. This comes from time spent in the shipyards of Topaz Sea Hold, as does his deep permanent tan. Olive colored eyes sparkle out from a face that can be described as boyishly handsom. His short reddish brown hair has been slightly bleached from his time in the sun. His hands are strong an calloused from turns in his craft.
Emotional Description of Persona:
Dacraslar has many friends, but few he would concider to be close. He has a sarcastic sense of humor, and loves to play harmless pranks on friends and loved ones. Though his is lively and talkative among friends, he often enjoys sitting quietly and observing those around him when in large groups. Because of this he has become a good judge of character and behavior. He would rather follow, but he can stand up and lead when no one else steps up, and he is not afraid of voicing his opinion.
History of Persona:
Dacraslar was the first born of Dagorandi, a senior Journeyman Shipwright, and his wife, Aslara. The men in his family had been shipwrights at Topaz Sea Hold for seven generations, and it looked as though he was destined to be the eighth. The shipyard was his play ground, and he could often be found hammering discarded planks together, and hauling them around in imitation of the adults around him.
As expected, as soon as his harper classes were finished he was apprenticed as a sea crafter. He worked hard and walked the tables when he was 18. He began his career as a shipwright in Topaz Sea Hold. However, not long after his 19th birthday, he was found on Search. This came as a great surprise, not only because he thought he was a little old to be Searched, but also because it started the thought in his mind that it was possible to have a life away from the shipyards. After careful concideration, and with the blessings of his father who would not refuse such an honor, he accepted the candidacy and has come to Dolphin Cove Weyr to see what his future holds.
He was very surprised to Impress in his first and only Hatching, though not terribly surprised at Impressing blue. With the help of his friends and his little blue Aosorath, he is settleing into Weyr life and finding a place for himself.

Aosorath is a most curious little sky-blue dragon. He is always asking questions of his rider, and thinks deeply about many things. Though it seems he will be a bit small for a blue, he promises to be strong, fast and agile.
