Reports for Emerald Falls Hold

October 31st 2007

Emerald Falls report, October 2007

Well, if nothing else had happened in Emerald Falls Hold, at least the Lord Holder Corowal has been kept busy.

Corowal tried to approach his daughter's milk-mother, Erassa, with a surprise picnic on the fireheights. His plans back-fired and Erassa walked out on him. She turned cold when he tried to advance on her. He tried again later with little success. This time Corowal turned his attention to Erassa's own son. Maybe if he was nice to him, she would be nice to him? Nope, not a change. Will the lord holder give up trying to get the stubborn Erassa to his bed or will the challenge just make him more determined?

Headwoman Vanea caught the Lord's heir fishing for cooling pies in the hold kitchens. With little success, since he got caught. Vanea marched him up to face his father, who wasn't too upset about the boy's prank. Corowal promised to have a serious chat with his son, so hopefully Vanea's pies will be left alone in the future.

Corowal also held a meeting with the riverboat Sungazer's new Captain, Lineal. He just wanted to learn to know him, but they did discuss the matters of riverboat-hold relation-ships. Corowal had no reason to complain, and no intentions to interfere with smoothly running things.
Corowal also paid Lord Ishek a visit in Garnet Valley Hold. He had found some rather interresting agreements between their predecessors.
