Well things have certainly been interesting at Sunstone the last few months.
Devren and Sophque are becoming closer and that concerns her, but she had a dream about Lord Morin that gave her some peace.
The headwoman confided in her friend Sophque regarding the father of her child and Sophque was neither surprised or judgemental. Sophque confided her growing feelings for the Fabric Merchant Devren and her concerns about his feelings if he new about her daughters father.
Danrina visited Devren's shop to pick up some new fabrics for making clothing for herself and her daughter. Then Yriadha delivered a message to her from her husband of an impending visit. The pair bond a bit from shared experience of unpleasant husbands. Later Danrina remembers her first time with Bryvin.
A person from Yriadha's past visits and they speak about their shared past. She asks him for a favor in a few turns time and he agrees. Later she dreams tells Sophque of the visit and that they'd been in love in her youth this turns momentarily to a nightmare and she wakes to Bryvin in her room. My that Lord Holder sure gets around.
Meanwhile, the Lady Holder's drudge Ranni arranges to escape the hold and get to the Weyr. Which she does but on the other side of the southern continent, far from Sunstone. Just a few days later Bryvin is informed his marriage to Lady Xeladrie has been dissolved and he has also been awarded compensation from Lord Xelfin of Turquoise Bay. The Lady will be committed to the mind healer Hall and under her father's control going forward.
Yridadha receives news of her father's ill health and leaves to attend his bedside in Amber Hills Territory.
The Lord holder's cousin Wirnan shows up under mysterious circumstances and asks to hide at Sunstone for a time. Bryvin offer's his protection.
Humari and Taril still have a happy marriage and Humari is helping her husband when she finds some errors in his books. But she also has good news of her pregnancy.
Yriadha returns from her father's funeral distressed and tells Sophque she was raped by Stenlis. She is terrified of what Bryvin will think of her. But Sophque takes a chance and tells the Lord what she's learned. Bryvin is livid but not with Yriadha and asks if she'd like him to kill the man for her. When Stenlis' proposal follows they plan his demise. Taril is part of the planning but goes off on a tangent to find out who Polson really is.
Taril also gives Arnolt a job to help find a present for his wife. Arnolt has always held a tender spot for Humari and finally tells her but she tells him she loves her husband. He ends up getting ahold of what Taril had asked for. Taril presents his wife with a gold firelizard egg.
Yriadha finds herself pregnant again but doesn't know if the father is Stenlis or Bryvin. She can't take the chance and goes to her son Riadem who is a healer. She aborts the child.
Humari has an accident and Taril takes his revenge on the negligent holder.
