At the beginning of the month Bryvin traveled to a secret location in the hills somewhere near the Hold where he met with some miners who had some good news to share about what they'd found. But Bryvin cautioned them to keep it secret for the moment.
Meanwhile D'arvin of Riverbluff Weyr brought one of the Hold's residents home for some recouperation.
Big news around the Hold for much of this month, is the upcoming marriage of the prominent Merchant Taril to the younger daughter of Headwoman Yriadha. The man is quite rich but disfigured so the match seemes to be welcome for both families. However the young woman in question was seen on the docks attempting to board a ship before she was escorted back to the Hold by her brother to the obvious protests of her groom.
But by far the biggest piece of news was the death of Lord Holder Morin. A sudden squall sent his ship into the rocks. There were no survivors. Searchers found his body and those of several others.
