Lots going on at Sunstone Seahold! First and foremost, Lady Xeladrie shares news that Lord Bryvin is to be a father. In providing him an heir, she secures his position and Lord Bryvin is very pleased with his young wife. Xeladrie, however, is a bit less pleased to see a darker side to her husband when he loses his temper and beats Lafael for spilling hot food on him.
Not the only trial poor Lafael faces, as he also takes a beating from Yarmel and is narrowly rescued by another Hold guard, Kestren, from an even worse fate. Bryvin's plans for Yarmel just can't come about soon enough! At least Lafael finds some kindness from Master Telemon when he seeks out the healer after the incident with the Lord Holder. He even experiences some comfort from his feline.
Xeladrie seems to find a potential friend in Humari, when they meet and Humari warns the Lady Holder about her mother, Yriadha. Humari however struggles with certain stirrings within herself upon meeting the beautiful Lady Holder and has to remind herself that they are both wed and that she is expecting Taril's child.
Eirock manages to meet a good many people at Sunstone in his first month. Before he's too well known in the Hold, the Steward does a little undercover reconaissance and comes to the aid of a barmaid by the name of Irune. He and Lady Xeladrie discuss the potential they have for establishing the traditions and indentity for Sunstone and the Lady Holder shares a vision of building beautiful gardens that will be something to be remembered. The Steward runs into Parale in a rainstorm after which they have a brief chat about the Hold. He meets with Sophque to ask about having some tunics made and both he and his firelizard appreciate her lovely voice. Eirock also heads down to the docks to meet Taril and deliver a bottle of whiskey from his uncle. The two men try to take one another's measure, but Taril is still unsure what he thinks of Eirock and decides only time will tell.
Taril experiences a boon in finishing his new warehouse. What exactly will that secret room be used for? At least the merchant will be able to conduct his business in comfort in his new office which still overlooks the Dockmaster's so that he can keep an eye on things. This is a man that likes to have his finger on the pulse of the Hold.
Plots and intrigue abound here at Sunstone which is a bonus location for March. What a perfect time to create a persona and get in on the action! We are seeking a Dockmaster and a Guard Captain, but crafters as well as other residents would be warmly welcomed too.
