Reports for Green Valley Hold

June 3rd 2014

Having spent a month starved and beaten by his captors, Reven is able to outsmart them and escape (but not before leaving behind two corpses.) Running through the woods, fevered from an infection, he struggles to continue forward, finally collapsing in an outcropping of rock...

Back home Arippa receives a disturbing package, the contents of which would make any wife scream- her husband's finger. Although horrifying, the finger served to solidify Arippa's hope that Reven was alive out there somewhere. She joins an old friend, Jeyme, in riding the skies looking for her husband, which leads her to request a pair of riding leathers from Green Valley's new Headwoman- Qorri.

...When the missing minor holder awakes, it is to the sound of Threadfall, which is falling all around him. The out cropping of rock keeps Reven safe until he is found by bluerider S'avn from Dolphin Cove Weyr. The bluerider transports Reven to safety at Dolphin Cove where he is recognized by greenrider Jeyme, and treated for his wounds.

Amidst all of the sorrow over his missing brother, Coran returns to Green Valley with his beautiful new wife- Relea. Coran and Relea think back to the night when they finally were able to consummate their new marriage and how far they have come since then. Trouble begins, however, when Relea goes outside the hold to gather flowers for her hats. Unable to find his wife, and with panicked thoughts of how Reven disappeared, Coran erupts when he finds Relea outside the protection of the Hold. Now Relea wonders what sort of man she has married, and what other side of him has she yet to see?
