Reports for River Bluff Weyr

May 21st 2016

F'lin and Jaylene have a huddle before threadfall to discuss the recent changes within their wing and how he feels about the new leadership. The wingthird tries to reassure the wingsecond that Rapids will be allright. The bronzerider is also seen speaking to Lanniya and the conversation isn't just brotherly either. F'lin seems to be openly flirting with the young goldrider. Then, after the hurricane hits the territory he comforts her since they both have shared experience with storms.

We also see that goldrider Lanniya has decided to try to time it to save her parents from the storm they disappeared in so many turns ago despite the risks to herself and her dragon and without permission from her Weyrleaders. Will she make it? Will River Bluff lose their newest gold before her first flight? Stay tuned!

K'ran chats with Lanniya too, asking the goldrider how she feels about her recent graduation and her new duties. They agree to meet up again for dinner sometime.

Sebeth catches Sirjath and their riders talk about life and family afterwards. Could these two be becoming more comfortable? K'mai has never seemed like the settling type.

The junior weyrlings go through their first flights and F'dal and Velaith complete theirs under the watchful eyes of Villith and D'lorn. The bronzepair manage to do well despite the dragonet's wish to go farther. Then, we see F'dal trying to write a letter to his family despite his bronze's constant butting in. Velaith has a question for everything it seems.

A'dryn's first greenflight wasn't the greatest experience. The greenrider talks about it with Lanniya and realizes maybe he needs to let go of some of his ideals and emotions before the next one.
