Reports for River Bluff Weyr

July 6th 2014

Riveenata is seen dancing with K'mai at the Hatching feast after her Impression. Now that she's a greenrider, maybe these two will meet again later. She also dances with F'lin though, as promised. The new greenrider also meets with her family at the feast and receives their well wishes.

D'lorn and K'mai also have a chat and the greenrider sort of unloads his woes. Lack of a love life has got him a bit down and the bluerider makes an offer. They meet up later and things seem to go well for both of them.

Lenala is feeling a bit insecure and J'ren comes around to let her know she pigeonholes herself sometimes. The two of them make plans for later.

A young trader girl comes to the Weyr and comes to the attention of D'arvn and Y'gel. The bluerider's dragon says she's candidate material. The dragonhealer seems more interested in the fact that she can talk to his bronze. So can Lanniya be talked into candidacy?

The dragonhealer lets the Headwoman know about the development so they can get her settled and work it all out. Hopefully things can be smoothed over.

After everything that happened with Gelira, Rhosyn and Y'gel finally sit down and everything comes out on the table. The goldrider lets him know that she's disappointed and feeling let down by him-the second time by a bronzerider recently. He doesn't take it well.

Bronzerider D'ren helps out the Weyrwoman and he seems to get some genuine gratitude for it. Rhosyn is forming an opinion of the young man, sizing him up. She and U'das discuss her lack of options and the two of them don't really come up with an answer.

While N'vanik is at the River Bluff hatching, he and Rhosyn have a talk and she lets him know that she can't continue things the way they are. He leaves without much fuss. Afterwards, she thinks about her childhood and then has a good cry. Another evening, she ends up having a nightmare alternating between the death of brownrider Z'an, N'vanik being Threaded, and Gelira being all alone. She has a fitful sleep and then starts her day slowly.

It seems goldrider Tsaera is going back to the North since both the River Bluff goldriders are ungrounded. She and Rhosyn talk about her decision. Then the Queens' Wing comes together when the Weyrwoman comes back to duty and they announce the decision.

Bahji and Riveenata pack up her things as she gets ready to go back to the Hold to see her parents. The two discuss her problems. Then D'arvn brings her back from the Hold to the Weyr. Bahji and D'arvn discuss her future and the bluerider lets her know that she can't hide out forever.

Bahji and K'lvin meet up for the first time after she comes back to River Bluff. Despite her promise to hate him, she seems to be softening and thinking more about him choosing to save her instead of him choosing to kill her children without her permission. Will the young girl decide to forgive him?

Riveenata and F'lin are seen visiting after the weyrling Impresses. Her green bespeaks his bronze and seems very curious about many things.

Lenala and H'vack sit down to discuss the upcoming Hatching and work out schedules for the egg visits.

Master Healer Reeva thinks about her history and her past. Flashbacks of her children and her previous romances give a little insight into her. She then meets up with Eioval and the two of them are like peas in a pod.

D'lorn gets some help from apprentice Lokkun in the Infirmary when he stocks up the first aid cabinet in the weyrling barracks for emergencies. Lokkun doesn't rise to the candidate bait, though, and sticks staunchly with his craft.

Ciara's green Ellianith rises and R'yin's brown manages to catch. Seems to be some history there.

Senior gold Orlaith is scheduled to rise next month. Will Nikornath manage to catch again? Is old K'sedel still healthy? Get to making those candidates folks.
