Greenrider Uetia wakes up after Sirjath's flight only to find herself in bed with her cousin's weyrmate. Of course Weyrlife being what it is, the two of them got over their discomfort quickly. Uetia also speaks to Lokkun when she goes in for a healer appointment. The two of them commiserate over grief. And then she takes comfort from K'mai when she has a nightmare about Sabonus.
A'kades finds himself promoted when the Weyrleader asks him to take on the position of Weyrlingmaster Second. The bronzeriders celebrate.
The Weyrwoman asks bluerider K'mai if he'd want to escort her to the Hatching at Dragonsfall and he acquiesces despite the odd nature of the request. She seems comfortable with him, however, and seems happy with the outcome.
Riveenata wakes up after her first flight and finds herself in the arms of K'mai. Neither of them seem upset by this turn of events even though she might have been hoping for a different outcome. Sebeth is nothing if not proven! The green weyrling is seen delivering firestone during Blooding to K'lvin's wing.
Alfginna comes to the Weyr and meets Rhosyn who promptly works to get the female settled despite the strangeness of the situation.
Lanniya goes to see Lenala for her lessons and she learns that as a goldrider she has to take care with her appearance despite what she might want to do. She learns from A'dryn why he came to the Weyr and Impressed and tries to set him at ease. A'dryn also makes friends with greenrider B'jon.
Harper Jayonne meets Dragonsfall goldrider Genna at a party. The two of them seem to get on well together. Genna is certainly traveling lately.
