The Hall is slowly reaching the point when they'll be ready to welcome the rest of the Harpers from the Weyr. But until then, Eilomar has been left in charge of the Turns End/Beginning celebrations!

The rotund chorus master seeks the help of a scribe to assist him in the planning, but Journeyman Muimer is less than helpful, though not on purpose. Eilomar quickly gets frustrated with the Journeyman's literal approach to his work and sends him on his way. You can't get proper help these days!

Vestian gave apprentice Elmaldi another private lesson on how to mix paint colors properly. She became rather disgusted with herself because it did not come out perfectly the first time. It seems that she has always been a natural at drawing, but she will have to work to get the hang of painting. Vestian can relate, as he had a very similar experience when he was younger. He encourages her not to give up. But is she just to improve her skill, or to impress the Master?
