Turn Over is finally upon us! The Harpers have been busy wrapping up one Turn and ushering in a new one.

Master Eilomar and Merlish are getting ready to celebrate their first full Turn of marriage! And yet still no sign of a little Harper to brighten up their home. Merlish thought for a moment that perhaps she might be pregnant, but it turned out the next day to have been a false alarm. Her husband was loving and supportive throughout. Perhaps these two are better suited than anyone would have guessed!

Vestian was asked by Master Almonteo to take on an apprentice of his very own. At first the Master Artist was reluctant, but once he found out his student would be Elmaldi, he had a change of heart. It seems that he rather likes the young apprentice. For her part, Elmaldi is over both moons at the news. As she tells her friend the happy news, she comes to realize that she looks at Vestian as more than just a Master, but as a man as well. Could this spell trouble in the future? It seems this fascination with him is deeply rooted in the past. She tells Vestian that they actually met when she was a young girl, and surprisingly, he remembers her! The knowledge of their shared past rattles Vestian a little as he lets his guard down, but he quickly slips back into the role of teacher.

We also gained a bit of insight into the Master's relationship with his wife, Porenne. At a dinner party, the pair play the part of the happy, loving couple beautifully, though it seems the fact that Vestian does not appreciate what he has in front of him as he should is well known to some. Though perhaps there is a reason for his coldness. It seems he and his wife have never truly connected as a couple sharing a bed. They also seem to have trouble truly communicating effectively elsewhere as well. Porenne does her best to bring in the new Turn positively, but ends up annoying her husband. Even after more than 11 Turns of marriage, it seems these two are little more than strangers.

Soon the Harpers from the Weyr will be coming to Emerald Falls to join their colleagues at the new Hall. What fun we shall all have then! Why not create a persona and join in?
