Since becoming Hall Master, Vestian has began to extensively expand Harper Hall, adding a large hall for past relics as well as additions for practice rooms and expanded teaching areas.

Vestian has also began to heal his relationship with his wife, Porenne, who has helped him develop a system of eyes and ears in Holds and Weyrs so he can keep up to date with all of the latest rumors and information. Recently, he's come upon some very interesting information about the marriage status of Rethisa; turns out that Rethisa and Demir's marriage may not be legitimate.
