Physical Description of Persona:
M'chan is extremely short, (5’2”) with a roundish face that, to his dismay, always makes him seem younger than he is at first glance.

His hair is a rusty reddish brown, short trimmed, though despite his best efforts he's never quite managed to grow a beard. His eyes are a bright green like new leaves. Freckles dust lightly over his cheeks and nose from exposure to the sun.

Emotional Description of Persona:
M'chan is quite possibly one of the friendliest people on Pern. He disdains fighting, believing that only bullies ever try to throw their weight around. He’s eager and always ready to strike up a conversation or include someone who looks like they feel left out.

That being said, he doesn't always pick up on if he's the one being obnoxious, and he tends to be a chatterbox, especially if it's a topic he's excited about.

History of Persona:
Melchan was born to Mellar (father) and Chanda (mother), both of them Healers, and grew up mostly following his mother around. Even as a child, however, Melchan just didn’t seem to have the drive to be a Healer. Yes, he learned to read, and write, as well as the next educated brat, but there was no spark for anything more.

What he did have was an unending curiosity that always spurred him on to the next thing, the next adventure, never able to settle for long on any one idea.

And when Melchan was Searched at age 14, he agreed with his usual zeal to the thought of another new experience-- and Impressed Tysileth at the very next Hatching, at Dream’s End Weyr.

Weyrlinghood was a bit of a struggle for M'chan at first, with important lessons he couldn't zone out of or skip, but he pulled through and learned what he needed to to look after Tysileth, and then graduate to the Fighting Wings when he was old enough.

He transferred to BLW shortly after it became a Weyr.

Description of Dragon:
Tysileth is big for a green, rivaling small blues, with a deep green hide from nose to tailtip, and only hints of a lighter mossy green around her eyes and along the trailing edges of her wings. She’s on the blockier side of well proportioned, though of course in her own opinion and M’chan’s she is the loveliest of greens.

Tysileth, like her rider, is a very happy go lucky excitable sort of dragon, always ready to go somewhere and do something, though she doesn't have the best memory, even for a dragon. She's extremely friendly and always willing to be social with other dragons and people.
