Physical Description of Persona:
P'yanka has the lanky, skinny build of a still-growing teenager, all angles and lines rather than muscle. Though he's no stranger to the outdoors, as evident from his sun-bronzed skin, there is nothing overtly robust about him - a youth more accustomed to long hours on his feet and careful, precise work than heavy labour. His dark brown eyes are narrow and observant, often squinting against light and lending him a serious, watchful expression as if constantly scrutinising his surroundings. Sun-streaked blond hair, a bit wild by nature, frames his head loosely in everyday moments, though it is just long enough to be drawn back into a practical ponytail when duties demand.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Quieter than his older brothers and far less inclined toward boisterous bravado, P’yanka is contemplative by nature and prone to overthinking. One might see these as traits of intelligence yet despite acquitting himself reasonably well with studies, he remains quite naive when it comes to personal relationships, be they friendly, romantic, or otherwise. He'll give everyone the benefit of the doubt and has great empathy for others, including patients, both a strength and his own undoing, leading him into a forbidden relationship which cost him dearly.

History of Persona:
He was born Peyanka in the sprawling cothold his family keeps a half-day's travel from Amber Hills Hold, known locally as Quartz Creek. His father, a highly successful Master Healer specialising in dentistry, ruled both craft and household with firm tradition while his mother married young and was never permitted any study beyond the basic harper lessons most children receive.

His sisters received the same treatment, relegated to house and garden chores until married off as early as possible, while Peyanka and his brothers were driven toward academic achievement from an early age. Two older brothers are already journeymen and a source of deep pride for the family, often pointed out to Peyanka when discussing what he should be achieving.

While not on quite as stellar trajectory as his elder brothers, Peyanka did earn his senior apprentice knots just last turn, and spends most of his days watching his father work, tending to his patients, and assisting with preparations and procedures which surprisingly don't all involve teeth.

Barrier Lake dragonriders had Searched him twice before but Peyanka always refused, convinced the healer craft was his true calling. His quiet manner and deep empathy, usually virtues, led him into a forbidden relationship with a boy his own age who also, awkwardly, happened to be a patient. After months of thrilling secrecy the pair got careless, spotted by Peyanka's father at a gathering in an intimate kiss.

In a fury of disappointment and disgust, his father disowned Peyanka outright, casting him from both home and craft for "shattering healer norms and ethics". While his father didn't specifically give the paramour's gender as an excuse, Peyanka knew the punishment would be far more lenient if this illicit liaison had been with a girl.

With nothing left, Peyanka turned at last to the Search token left by Barrier Lake’s riders more than a turn ago.

Description of Dragon:
Pumoth is a pudgy, endearingly awkward hatchling, all oversized paws, broad muzzle, and a thick rump tapering into a hefty tail. Her hide gleams in saturated shades of teal and emerald, like deep lagoon waters under heavy sun, with darker points shading her extremities. Lacking the sleek elegance of some clutchmates, she compensates with wholehearted enthusiasm: when awake she barrels forward at full speed, and when spent she collapses utterly, dead to the world, with little room for moderation between the two states.

Social without being bold, she might not be the one to initiate group antics but she's the first to say yes and once swept in she participates with wholehearted, clumsy devotion.

Peyanka received Glint's egg from his father, in a rare good mood after his son was awarded several accolades of excellence along with his senior apprentice knots. A dragonrider had paid for some quite extensive dental work by offering three eggs to the Master Healer and, to everyone's surprise and Peyanka's utter delight, the smallest of the lot turned out to be a bronze.

Glint is a serious contender for most diminutive bronze as he is easily outsized by large browns. He is exquisite in every other respect: lithe, sinuous, and fluid in motion, uncannily like a feline. His hide gleams with a warm, polished bronze that deepens toward amber along his spine, catching the light as he coils, stretches, and launches with effortless grace. He is built for speed rather than strength and he hunts with single-minded enthusiasm, delighting in tunnel snakes and, truthfully, anything foolish enough to move within reach. He often returns with trophies, some more dubious than others, that he presents proudly at P'yanka's feet.
