Physical Description of Persona:
Varethos is still trying to figure himself out. He's developing into a handsome young man that may never be able to grow a full beard, though what has been a wiry and lean build is finally starting to develop some muscle, which will eventually end with him being not as broad as his father but still with a solid kind of strength. He's still a bit sharper with more angles, but still undoubtedly one of M'thos' brood. His short blond hair has a bit of a wave to it and is takes forever for him to look like he just woke up. His bright blue eyes alight a pale face with a gentle smattering of freckles.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Quiet and thoughtful, Varethos has always been low-maintenance. He listens well and does what he's told, which is really all that's asked from him in classes and lessons at this point. He can take on a leadership position when it's called for, but for the most part he prefers sitting back and watching everyone else. He tends to lean more towards taking on a caregiver role in a group; he helped out with the younger kids a lot when he was living with his family, and now that many of them are in the candidate barracks with him he's started it again. He's a good listener and likes looking out for others. His family was careful to try not to put any expectations on him, but it happened anyway. Quiet and thoughtful, Varethos sets high expectations for himself, and he always has. He does his best in classes and lessons, and he's always been a bit of a perfectionist.

History of Persona:
Born and raised in Dragonsfall Weyr, Varethos spent most of his childhood between his mother's quarters in the Lower Caverns and his father's weyr. His parents were good friends and co-parented well, and Varethos grew up with a lot of love. His mother weyrmated a few folks throughout the turns and had a few more children. His father and his weyrmate had many more children too, and he grew up the eldest of a veritable horde of half-siblings and foster-siblings.

He decided very early on that he wanted to become a dragonrider like his fathers, and presented himself to the candidate barracks. He's been taking harper classes on the side, like his Dad, so he has a plan if he ages out. Both his Dads Impressed late, though, so he's not too worried…yet.
