Myvaras stands tall with a lean, athletic build, and moves with a confident grace. His tousled chestnut hair falls in unruly waves around his face, framing high cheekbones and a sharp jawline. A smattering of freckles dust his nose and cheeks, adding a touch of boyish charm to his otherwise composed demeanor. There's a glint of determination in his green eyes.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Myvaras has a natural, assured self-confidence that comes from him knowing who he is and who he's going to be. He's charming, responsible, resilient, and with a flair for the dramatic. It's no wonder he's popular with his peers now, and his aura of "responsible" and "a fine young man who will go far" makes him well-regarded by authority.

He is determined to prove himself worthy of his heritage and forge a legend as a dragonrider. The problem is that he's got less than a Turn left to Impress and it's looking less and less likely. He's good at masking when things are wrong, so he's doing a great job hiding that he is terrified he won't Impress and holding on to his confidence by his fingernails.

History of Persona:
Myvaras was born at River Bluff Weyr, the child of a lineage of dragonriders going back generations on both sides. As a result, he's has had his whole life planned out since he could talk. Of course he would became a Candidate as soon as he was allowed, and of course he'd take on a Craft suitable for a rider. After all, it was only natural he'd Impress, and he'd want to be well-prepared and useful to the Weyr's riders.

At 12 Turns old he joined the ranks of the Candidates, ready to take on a role as a lead figure and prove his worth. Naturally, older Candidates weren't a fan of this starry-eyed young upstart thinking he could boss them around, and naturally he got his place in the pecking order and his status as not that special pounded into him. Disappointed and cowed for a Turn, Myvaras decided he'd prove his worth, and make himself the perfect Candidate, who would obviously be chosen as a leader during weyrlinghood. So he paid attention to what was seen as the best qualities, then cultivated them in himself, so he could be the right kind of boy to be popular with his classmates and perfect for a bronze.

The destruction of River Bluff Weyr was devastating to the family. His mother Raskene was killed in the disaster. The family transferred to Windswept Islands Weyr, and his uncles and aunt stepped in to help care for the children while their father grieved his weyrmate. Yet there was a silver lining for Myvaras, as under his uncle M'vais' tutelage he found social skills that finally impressed his peers.

Once Barrier Lake opened, the entire extended family all transferred in. This time, he found himself far more settled in the candidate pool, a mix of the faces he's known his whole life, and new people Searched in or transferred from other weyrs. He finally has the popularity and leadership of his dreams.

He's currently under a lot of stress, with the weight of expectation bearing down on him as his family all wonder openly why he hasn't Impressed yet. He knows if he doesn't Impress, then he'll be the first in the family to do so, and he can't go forward in his chosen Craft. His dreams of bronze has become a desperation to Impress anything at all before it's too late. There's an impending emotional breakdown coming if he doesn't, but so far he's been staving it off with the frantic hope that this last clutch will 'save him'.
