Physical Description of Persona:
Coran is nearly identical in looks to his older brother Reven, aside from the fact that Coran is a few inches taller. Square jawline, high cheekbones, and strong bluish green eyes are set beneath a fringe of brown hair. Like his brother, Coran cares little for fashion and is usually dressed in a modest pair of tan breeches and a green tunic.

6'3", Coran doesn't have the same wide shoulders and thick chest as Reven but is long and lanky with lean muscles that are clearly defined. He has a confident stride and usually had an eyebrow arched when listening to others.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Coran is a rather serious person, not uncommon in a craft where he sees a lot of sickness and death. He has a good sense of humor but is often reserved and not as forth coming with it as his brother. The journeyman is very studious and works hard at learning more and more about his craft with aspirations of being a Master some day.

History of Persona:
Coran was born to Rendrall and Corette, their second child and second son. He spent most of his childhood running around the hold and creating general, childlike havoc with his older brother Reven. When Coran was twelve Reven was sent off to Red Rush to be fostered and learn more about the farmer craft. Being left behind at the hold without his best friend and confident was hard for Coran at first, until he was old enough to join the healer craft.

While Coran was off on his studies he met Alyei, the most beautiful girl he'd ever seen, he swore. The two dated until it was time for Coran to return to Green Valley as a journeyman. The two married at Green Valley when they were nineteen and spent five Turns together before Aleyi took a fever and died, taking their unborn child with her.

Recovering from Alyei's death has been a slow and rocky process. When Reven returned to Green Valley as the Holder things around the Hold livened up for Coran and he was once again filled with a sense of hope. Shortly after Reven's return, Coran found himself being introduced to Relea, a deaf, but eligible woman seeking a marriage. As his Holder and Brother, Reven felt that Coran should strongly consider the woman, after all, it had been sufficient time after Alyei's death for Coran to begin looking again.

Coran wasn't sure that he could ever remove enough of Alyei from his heart to make room for another woman. Yet slowly, as he took lessons from Relea to learn her hand language, he found himself falling in-love with the woman as surely as he had fallen in love with Alyei. In an impulsive gesture, the two eloped at Emerald Falls Hold.

Some Turns down the road, Lord Corowal was declared missing at Emerald Falls Hold. His heir, Corofal, at eighteen and just finished with his fostering at Amber Hills, required a provisional holder to help him oversee the start of his Lordship. Coran's older brother, Reven, was asked to go to Emerald Falls to be Provisional Warder, while Coran stepped in at Green Valley as Holder until his brother's return. Coran was glad to do so, if only to keep his mind off of his separation and divorce from Relea.
