Physical Description of Persona:
Morasva is currently standing just under 5' tall. She hadn't been tall in her youth, and age has just made her shorter. She has wispy white hair that she keeps in a rider's crop. Her tan skin is wrinkled and weather-worn. She has kept herself in as good of physical shape as she can at her age. Morasva can usually be seen in riding leathers, though she does occasionally wear clothing more suitable to her age.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Morasva is a force to be reckoned. She is strong-willed, stubborn, and very sure of herself. Her age has only made these characteristics more pronounced. She will tell people what is on her mind whenever she can. She has a sharp tongue, and is quick to point out someone's mistakes. She's also quite willing to point out someone's virtues and compliments people whenever she feels they deserve it. She just doesn't think most people deserve many compliments.

For all that, Morasva is still generally kind and extremely patient. When criticizing someone, she always does so constructively and is always willing to help someone fix any of the 'faults' she sees. So long as she sees that someone she is working with, particularly Weyrlings, are really trying to improve, she will patiently help them along. However, she doesn't tolerate laziness, complaints, or otherwise undisciplined behavior.

History of Persona:
Morasva was born in what was Thayan Peak Weyrhold. Her parents were both dragonriders, and she was lucky enough to be one of the few to Impress during the Interval. She took her role as a dragonrider very seriously, even though no one thought thread would come back. She just felt it was important to keep up the tradition, if only to honor those before her who had fought thread.

Even though she took her position as a dragonrider seriously, she still felt she should do something else to contribute to the Weyrhold. She had taken up the Baker craft before Impressing Orkanth and after her green matured enough, Morasva returned to the Baker craft. Morasva didn't hold with the idea that women shouldn't be crafters. She felt that they could do both, especially in a Weyrhold where there were so many other people around to help take care of children. She did not put much effort into advancing in Bakercraft, considering herself a dragonrider first, and she only became Senior Journeyman at the age of 37.

During her time as a Weyrling she met L'ayn, a bluerider who had Impressed from the same clutch Morasva had. The two became fast friends and the first time Orkanth rose, it was L'ayn's blue that caught her. From then on Morasva and L'ayn have been Weyrmates. The two of them had 7 children, one of which died as an infant. All of the remaining 6 were raised both by the creche and by Morasva and L'ayn. Thread was not yet falling which meant the two dragonriders had enough time to parent at least part-time.

With the beginning of this Pass and the arrival of thread, two died from threadscore. Because of the passing of these children, particularly M'lyn, Morasva and L'ayn often dote on Malinah, their youngest child's (M'lyn's) youngest child. Of course, they do have many other grandchildren, but they do not know any of them very well.

Now that a few turns have passed since her sons' passing, and the shock has worn off, she feels she should come out of retirement and try to help as she can. It was with that goal in mind that she became a Weyrlingstaff Assistant. It was something she and Orkanth could do together to help out the Weyr.

Description of Dragon:
Orkanth's green hide has faded to a light forest green as she's gotten older. She's relatively small-sized for a green. When she was younger, Orkanth would flirt with every blue and brown she saw, and that hasn't changed with age. She doesn't fly anymore, of course, but that doesn't mean she doesn't enjoy a good flirt. She's generally outgoing and likes to talk to anyone who will listen.
