Physical Description of Persona:
Faran is a tall sort, around 6'2". In spite of his size his voice is very light and litling. The tall tenor has longish dark brown hair that usually frames his face nicely. His wiry frame hides an equaly wiry strength and his bright hazel eyes hide a spark of vitality.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Faran has had it hard in life. But despite that he keeps a peaceful, calm demeanor. Slow to anger, Faran enjoys himself to the fullest extent of his abilities.

History of Persona:
Born in Amber Hills, Faran always wished to be a harper from his first day in Harper classes. He had a sweet treble as a boy, and was quickly sent to the main Hall here in the south. There he became skilled in the other arts of the Harper, instrument making, composing, etc.

But Faran always wished to see the world. At the age of sixteen, with much convincing on his part, Faran took a stint at the Main Harper Hall up north. It was there he recieved his journeymanship, and saw the amazing things women could do in a Hall. It changed his outlook completely.

At 20, he recieved a letter that his father had died of a heart attack. Faran was devastated. He quickly returned home to comfort his mother and sisters. His mother died three days after her husband of a broken heart.

He fell into despair. One of his friends told him that a firelizard would help him forget his grieving. He agreed grudgingly, but his life changed again when his bronze Kio hatched.

Faran knew he couldn't care for his six sisters, so he sent the five youngest to Amethyst Cliff with his aunt. His eldest sister, only one year younger, remained at Amber Hills to continue with her off hour classes in baking. She had dreams of going North to become a full apprentice. But her father would never let her.

Faran remained at Amber Hills as well, continuing his training on the side. When the Earthquake at Amethyst Cliff occured, Faran and his sister Saria rushed to the rubble, to find nothing of their aunts little cothold left. All his siblings, and his aunt and uncle died in the quake. All that was left to him was his sister, Saria.

Now that everyones gone, it's up to Faran to decide what to do with her. He is thinking of sending her North, but he needs money.

Kio, Bronze Firelizard: aged 16, hatched m5 d16
Kio is proud to show himself off as male. He enjoys causing trouble for his owner, often nicking things that don't belong to him. Jewelery, keys, pencils... and hiding them througout the Hold.

His hide is a perfect blend of green and gold. He is slim chested and large winged. He often finds the most obvious place to perch and his proving somewhat dificult to train, often hiding the messages instead of delivering them.
