Physical Description of Persona:
Aelin has yet to hit his growth spurt, and is a tiny little scamp with permanently tousled brown hair and large, curious brown eyes. He's forever taking tumbles, sliding across floors, and knocking things over. Because of this trait, he has several small scars on his hands and feet, and is sure to gain more before his apprenticeship is over.
Emotional Description of Persona:
Aelin is like many young men - awkward and shy. He always tries to get things right and somehow manages to mess them up, but endearingly so. He keeps to himself, but when is forced to talk, rambles on incessantly.
History of Persona:
Aelin, born to a drudge and a vintner, always expected to apprentice as one. It was no surprise when, shortly after turning 12, he was apprenticed... to Vintner Hall. Unfortunately, his apprenticeship has been one disaster after another. On his first day as an official student, he dropped a bottle of wine on the journeyman's feet. In his haste to clean it up (and his embarrassment), he cut up his hands and feet, leaving several small scars. Not too much longer after that, he managed to trample a juvenile grape vine in the vinyard.
His reputation for being accident prone is exceeded only by his reputation for uncommon good luck when it comes down to the actual business of his craft. Unerringly, he can discern specific vintages from all over Pern by smell and taste. Aelin has a green thumb as well, the plants left under his care tend to flourish, when not stepped on by their caretaker.
Journeymen either despair or delight in his presence in his class.

Named "Seven" because he was the seventh and smallest pup of the litter, this canine is as awkward as his master. A mottled brown, his oversized paws and ears give him an unfinished look to match that of Aelin.
