Physical Description of Persona:
K'daen is tall for his age, already standing nearly eye to eye with many full riders, with a lean frame shaped by a life of physical labor around the Weyr. His skin is a deep golden-brown, sun-warmed from turns spent outdoors. His hair is thick, black, and kept in close curls cropped just above his ears, often pushed back by a simple leather headband when working. His eyes are an intense dark amber, striking against his skin, often seeming to catch the light when he laughs, or when he's deep in concentration. He wears practical clothes suited for work in the dragon infirmary but usually finds small ways to show personality, like a braided cord around his wrist or a colorful bead tucked into the laces of his boots.

Emotional Description of Persona:
K'daen has an old soul tucked into a young frame. He is passionate, fiercely loyal, and carries a quiet intensity that makes it clear he is always thinking a few steps ahead. While respectful of hierarchy, he is not blindly obedient; he values wisdom over authority. K'daen often comes across as serious in formal settings, but among close friends, he has a wickedly sharp sense of humor and an infectious laugh. He believes deeply in the bonds between dragons and riders and sees dragonhealing not just as a job, but as a sacred trust. He struggles with perfectionism, holding himself to high standards, and sometimes needs reminders that even dragonhealers must rest.

History of Persona:
Born in Dolphin Cove Weyr to a greenrider mother and a cotholder father he rarely sees, not desiring to be out of the Weyr that much, K'daen was raised primarily by the Weyr as a classic Weyr-brat. From a young age, he was drawn to the dragons, not just for their grandeur, but for their vulnerabilities, the tired bronze nursing an old wing injury, the Blue clearly distraught over his Thread-scored Rider. His empathy for dragons was profound, even before he knew the words for it. He was constantly found sneaking into the dragon infirmary, offering to fetch water or organize supplies just for the chance to be close to them.

At twelve, K'daen officially entered the Dragonhealing craft as an apprentice, where he quickly distinguished himself with a keen eye for subtle signs of injury and a calm bedside manner that helped even the most irritable dragons trust him and soothe the worries of panicked riders.

Turns of Hatchings in which he did not Impress began to have a serious affect on K'daen. He began to push himself harder and harder in his craft, believing he had to prove his worth in order to remain in the Weyr. This left him with multiple triggers the could lead to panic attacks, night terrors, and deep rooted self-confidence issues.

Now that he has Impressed K'daen has thrown himself into Weyrling training the same way he did Craft training. Unfortunately becoming a rider has not alleviate the demand for perfection, or the pressure that applies, from him.

Description of Dragon:
While even more awkward and unsteady than most hatchlings during his first couple of sevendays, Zarenth will really blossom as he grows. He’ll start to outgrow some of his brown peers within the first few months, and will fill out solidly with muscle, particularly through the chest and back. As an adult he’ll be on the larger side, though not enormous, and muscular without excessive bulk -- a well-formed dragon with a great balance between speed and staying power. His dark brown hide has a lovely reddish undertone that isn’t as obvious when he’s young and small, but the bigger he grows the more apparent it will become, particularly when he’s freshly-oiled.

Zarenth is a quick-witted brown with a rugged, approachable presence that hides a sharp edge beneath the surface. Fiercely loyal to his rider and wingmates, he balances a natural charm with a streak of impulsiveness that sometimes lands him in trouble -- but he always means well. Skilled and adaptable, Zarenth thrives on teamwork and is quick to step up when needed, though he bristles against being underestimated or controlled. His humor is dry and sometimes self-deprecating, a way to defuse tension and keep spirits high even in the toughest situations. Beneath the easygoing exterior, he carries a strong sense of responsibility and a fierce determination to protect those he cares about, making him both a steadfast ally and a dragon who never backs down from a challenge.
