Physical Description of Persona:
Faryn is a rather handsome young man and when he gets older he will be even more so. He stands 5'7" tall, and weighs in at 160 pounds of solid muscle with olive skin, and he has a curious feel about him. He has knowing, round dark hazel eyes, a hooked nose, and a square jaw. He's got a well cropped medium blond colored hair. He tends to keep his mustache and beard well trimmed. He tends to enjoy wearing tight black leather pants and shirts sometimes he will dress up, but if he's not in his lessons he tends to wear the all black look. A particularly noticeable feature is his intense gaze.

Emotional Description of Persona:
When you get to know Faryn he is rather lovable. He is extremely honest. He is very dominate in his assertiveness. He is very self-confident. He has very good manners. His discipline is above average and its usually what drives him. He needs to be perfect and the best at everything he does regardless of what it is. He's got an optimistic world view. He believes that men and woman are equal, but have different strengths and weaknesses, and as such shouldn't be in certain crafts. He doesn't tend to take younger people seriously.

He tends to like practicing different styles of fighting, including weapons work with staves, and bow and arrows. He's mastered the ability to use a bow and arrow, from standing or on the back of a runner. He will be up every morning before sun rise and out jogging around the Weyr, and working out with the dragon riders. He believes that he needs to keep his body as strong as his mind and that a very strong body is good for him to be as good as he can be.

He dislikes slow walkers, and different things he feels are pointless. He doesn't mind being isolated, and most times loves the isolation. He's very good at sewing and trying to make his own clothing. He is amazing at tracking, and knows how to play the guitar. He likes the color bronze and tends to like the music thats reminiscent of blues on earth. He likes to eat foods that include meat he will eat his vegetables but he prefers meats. His major quirk is when people take too long to explain something that is so simple.

Once past the very serious side of him Faryn is dedicated to his healing he feels that he needs to give something back to dragon kind so when he was searched at the age of 17 he hopes to impress so that he can become a dragon healer.

History of Persona:
Faryn grew up the son of one of the Steward's assistants of Emerald Falls Hold and his mother was a cook. So from a young age he always felt he had to measure up to his father and was pressured to do such. His teachers expected him to be better both in actual class work, and out of class. From a young age his father expected him to do everything perfect. As a brat he'd hang out with the other hold children. He'd get into trouble with them, and get stuck having to go hunt down tunnel snakes, which in his mind wasn't really punishment as he actually saw the hunting of tunnel snakes as good practice.

When he was 6 turns old he'd found a bow and arrows and he'd taken it and headed out into the woods and started shooting trees with it. He enjoyed using the bow and arrows and as such kept working on how to shoot accurately. He did this in private not wanting his father or any others to know for fear they'd not allow him to do such, and he didn't' want them to take away the one thing that he enjoyed doing the most. At the age of 8 turns old Faryn was out in the woods surrounding the hold and he ended up falling out of a tree and broke his right arm. Upon his visit to the healer and the healer setting his arm he decided that he wanted to be a healer and help others. Though he had no intentions of not keeping up with his physical care. He'd run around the outer hold perimeter each day, and he'd then go and push barrels of heavy items, help in the stables doing manual labor. He would find reasons to help doing the harder manual labor that others wouldn't, or more didn't like to do. He wanted to make sure that he was fit.

When Faryn was 12 turns old his father had wanted him to go to train with the stewards staff in hopes he'd take over for him when he retired, but that's not what Faryn felt he needed to do, so he surprised his father by telling him he was going to be a healer. This surprised everyone as Faryn had never shown a desire or aptitude towards healing. Even the healers who would be training Faryn had no idea he ever wanted to be a healer, but once they started to train him they found he was a very apt pupil, and his fierce determination to get everything perfect started his teachers believing that he'd made a wonderful surgeon.

During a feast Faryn messed around with a girl he'd had a crush on. Faryn was at the time aged 15. The girl went to Zaranfar five months later claiming to be pregnant by Faryn. Zaranfar 'paid off' the girl to say that the child was someone elses', and his reasoning to Ghatia was that she was older than Faryn and why would she have taken advantage of Faryn instead he got scared her into saying that the childs' father was a drudge she'd slept with. Faryn never found out about his son.

Two turns after Koir was born a green rider showed up at Emerald Falls and searched Faryn and his brother Aralaiss. As his way to thank the green for searching him he changed from being a regular healer he wishes to impress so he can become a dragon healer. At the age of 18 Faryn took his journeyman's test and passed it and has now become a journeyman healer. So he continues to work on healing while he's waiting to see if he impresses to a dragon.

Shortly after arriving at the Weyr Faryn was feeling homesick so he decided that he wanted a pet and went to the stables and at the time there was a litter of kittens that were just old enough to be homed out and he asked for one and was allowed to take one of the kittens. He named the grey/black kitten Smoke. He loves playing with Smoke and sitting there in his chair with Smoke on his lap while he studies it helps him concentrate. Though every morning before sun rise Faryn is out in the Weyr bowl exercising till just after morning meal, and about a half candlemark before his first lesson. He usually skips his morning meals so he can keep working out, and then bathes before lessons.

Smoke, Feline: aged 5, born m9 d14
Physical: Smoke is a medium sized feline. His fur is grey with large patches of brownish black all over his body. His underbelly is a lighter coloring with faded spots of black. His face is an almost white colored grey. He's got some black lines that starts on his forehead and goes between his ears and down his neck. He's also got two thin black stripes on each check. His nose is a bright red coloring with black right around the edges. His eyes are almond shaped and a golden almond coloring. His ears are on the small side and rounded. His fur is medium long and rather soft.

Emotional: Minimum Smoke is definitely a lap cat. He enjoys laying on his masters' lap while he's reading, or sewing. He will also cuddle up with his pet when he's sleeping whether under the blankets when its cold out or just sleeping curled up next to him on the bed. He is also a very friendly feline. HE loves to play with wherry hide mice, and balls. He will also happily chase a ribbon all day long if you let him.
