Persona Profile: L'tan

Writer: Crystal

Name: L'tan
Age: 32
Birthday: m9 d24
Rank: Wingrider, ArĂȘte Wing
Location: Dragonsfall Weyr
Craft: Tailor
Craft Rank: Senior Apprentice

Physical Description of Persona:
L'tan is, in a word, pretty. He has a thin build, about 5'10" and about 130 lbs. He has almost femenine features, a thin, almost pointed nose and large, emerald green eyes that seem to shine with mischief. He has full lips that are quick to smile, and even quicker to grin. His hair is a pale golden blonde, though there's rumors that he might have assisted that color with citrus juice in his hair.

His clothing is just about as bright and sunny as his appearance. He tends to make his own clothing, usually in bright colors. Since his impression to Coralith he's been dressing in green more than everything else, since he absolutely has to match everything, even his dragon.

Emotional Description of Persona:
L'tan is flamboyant and extravagant, a little bit vain, and always quick to smile or laugh. He's a bit of a perfectionist, everything has to be 'just so' and he can get quite upset when it isn't. He's a bit of a flirt, and quite a social flit, always making friends wherever he goes. He has a tendency to critique people's clothing, and is often dashing off for a hide to write down a new design.

History of Persona:
Lartan grew up the son of a Master Weaver. From a young age he knew that his skills lay in the creation and design of clothing. He also knew that he was different than everyone else. He wasn't attracted to women at all...in fact, it was always a man that caught his eye. With the prejudices of the Hold he kept tight reign on himself, keeping his secret held tight against his chest. But it hurt, as the turns went by, seeing his friends all pair off and fall in love.

It came to the point where he couldn't bear it. He left the hold and went to Dragonsfall Weyr. He worked in the lower caverns for a while, and then he got his chance. He walked the sands, along with all the other candidates. He was nervous, excited, and even a little impatient, as the suspense was killing him. Then...the eggs started rocking. He was looking at one in particular, one that was slightly smaller than the rest. When it cracked open it practically exploded, shards falling everywhere. The diminutive green sat amidst the shards and looked around, blinking until her eyes rested on Lartan, or rather, L'tan. }: I'm hungry, L'tan. :{ His eyes lit up with joy and he looked around wildly. "Her name's Coralith!" He and his dragon were quite a pair, she being quite vain as well, and they got into all sorts of mischief as weyrlings. When it came time for training, though, they were all business. The perfectionist in him demanded that he be perfect in everything. Because of Coralith's speed he was assigned to the Queen's Wing right out of weyrlinghood, and he and Coralith work hard to earn that honor.

Family and Friends
Lardiss, 57, Master Weaver (Father)

Dragon's Name: Coralith
Dragon's Age: 16
Dragon's Hatching Date: m7 d21

Description of Dragon:
Coralith is a lively, slender little green, of a brilliant emerald shade that matches L'tan's eyes. Her feet and face fade into a darker shade of green. She's an extremely fast flyer, zipping in to flame thread with great accuracy. She's a bit on the vain side, always insisting on being cleaned and oiled to perfection.
