Physical Description of Persona:
Of medium height and healthly athletic build, he has jet black hair that's incredibly straight and worn about shoulder length. His eyes are a dark klah brown and they, like most of his descendents and family members, have a prounounced slant to them. His face with its sharply defined planes, and high cheekbones, combined with the bronzed tan he's gained from being outside constantly, gives him a rather exotic appearance. He's a practical dresser but doesn't mind dressing up when it's necessary. He's been apprenticed to the North since he was young and his accent reflects this.

Emotional Description of Persona:
He's got a quick silver temper that's sometimes simmering just below the surface. Luckily, this is tempered by a kind heart. He's a rather loyal man, who's learned to stay quiet when he has to, although around those he trusts, he's rather outspoken. He's been known to hold a grudge and has learned from the past just how wrong this can be and tries desperately not to fall prey to this aspect of his personality.

History of Persona:
He was the eldest son of Leran, the previous holder of Green Valley. And acrimonious relationship with his father resulted in him being sent away to the North for apprenticing in the Beastcraft--tantamount to exile. Angry and bitter, when his father softened towards him and requested he return, he refused. His younger brother, Kohlan, was made heir to the hold. Tragedy struck when a fever ran through the hold, killing his brother and mother, and blinding his younger sister permanently. His father, stubborn as he was, refused to beg him to come home--and worse, did not even advise him of the deaths of his mother and brother. It was not until the old man lay on his deathbed that he begged his daughter to send word to Kohler and ask him home so that their family could retain the holding they'd kept for generations.

Alarmed, saddened and filled with self recrimination, Kohler immediately returned home. Alas, it was too late to make peace with his father as the old man perished before he could arrive. He took hold for his father however and is now trying to take stock of the hold, keep it profitable for the Lord Holder they are beholden to and try to become used to the restrictive nature of Emerald Falls. Thus far, it's a rather shaky transition.
