Physical Description of Persona:
V'kelo is quite tall, but lacks much of the bulk shared by many of his fellow riders. He keeps his black hair neatly trimmed, hating when it falls into his eyes. Bright green eyes are framed by long lashes that are the envy of many a woman, and V'kelo knows how to use those eyes to his advantage. With a crooked nose and a lopsided smile, his eyes are the only feature that stand out on his otherwise plain face.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Generally amused by life, V'kelo is a man who is very hard to anger. His unshakable confidence in himself can be very annoying for those around him, but the fact that he has no temper to speak of and no need to _prove_ that he's right keeps him out of trouble for the most part--at least with other men. Women are another story entirely--but V'kelo prefers his romantic entanglements to be exciting, which his annoying smugness almost always guarantees. There is nothing V'kelo enjoys more than provoking a woman's temper.

History of Persona:
V'kelo was born to a Master Woodsmith in the Woodcraft Hall, and was raised with the assumption that he, too, would become a master of their craft. His father built much sought-after furniture for many an important Lord and Lady, and V'kelo himself showed a talent for nimble decoration at an early age.

Although V'kelo had all of the necessary skill and precision to make fine furniture, he shocked his mother and enraged his father shortly after his promotion to Junior Journeyman by following a Searchrider back to Dragonsfall Weyrhold, where he Impressed brown Kazikstath during his very first Hatching.

His father calmed down once he realized that the lack of Thread would make it easy for his son to consider learning his craft, albeit under the instruction of one of the Weyr's crafters. He spent most of his free time building sturdy, sensible furniture that could be used throughout the Weyr, and accepting the occasional commission as trade or as a favor to a friend.

The return of Thread shook V'kelo's otherwise placid life. He lost his weyrmate in the first Fall met by Dragonsfall, and was nearly fatally 'scored in the second. After recovering, V'kelo rejoined the fighting wings as a different man--one who seemed to never take anything terribly seriously unless it had to do with Thread or dragons.

Kazikstath has a long Threadscore over his shoulder and down his back, a token of their second battle against Thread--and the Fall that nearly took his rider's life. It took a long time for Kazikstath to regain his full strength, and he sometimes is willing to push too hard to overcompensate.
