Physical Description of Persona:
Marza is tall and slender. At 17 she's reached her full height, and she's as tall as an average man. Marza looks a lot like her grandmother, including the face-transforming smile. Thanks to the effects of the sun, Marza's shoulder-length brown hair is streaked with red.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Marza is one of those people who can be annoyingly cheerful at times. She tries hard to follow her grandmother's joy in life, but her youthful exuberance can be a much at times. Marza is not ready to be tied down by any one man yet, instead she chooses to follow her grandmother's pattern of enjoying a few different men, discretely.

History of Persona:
Marza was born in the 8th month of the 1188th turn of the interval to Garima, the daughter of master vintner Arima in River Bluff Weyrhold. Marza never knew who her father was. To this day she doesn't even think that her father knows who he is. Garima has never told either her mother or her daughter who Marza's father is. Growing up in the Weyr, Marza never felt the lack of a father. In 1190, when Marza was still 1 turn old, Garima impressed Green Zoluth. To ensure that Garima had time to pay attention to Zoluth, Arima took over the care of Marza. Since she was old enough to toddle after Arima, Marza has followed her grandmother through the vineyards and the brewery. On her 13th birthday in turn 1201 of the interval, Marza was officially apprenticed to Arima as an apprentice vintner.

In 1203, when thread fell again, Marza's grandfather, G'zel, was fatally scored in the third fall of the pass. Arima fell into a depression over the loss of her husband. Garima didn't have a lot of time between drills and flying fall, so it was up to Marza to pull her grandmother out of the depression. The following turn, Arima finally came out of her depression and Marza got her grandmother back.

In the 2nd turn of the pass, Marza had an affair with a young blue rider. She did, however, learn the lesson that her mother didn't learn when Marza was conceived. Marza made sure to get the correct herbs from the healers to ensure that there were no unexpected consequences of her liaison. Since then Marza has had a few different "dalliances" with different riders, but she's always careful to be discrete and careful.
