Physical Description of Persona:
Standing at well over 6 foot, he's still muscular from Turns of riding his beloved dragon. R'han is blessed with a still full head of hair which has turned from black to silver over the Turns. Despite the return of Thread, he refuses to cut it and it falls just below his collar. He doesn't care how uncomfortable it is restraining it under a flight cap--he's not cutting it! He's got piercing blue eyes and very tanned, weathered face. He's one of those men that only gets better looking with age, his looks having mellowed, not faded.

Emotional Description of Persona:
It's almost impossible to get him angry--but when he does get riled, watch out! A womanizer by heart, only a few women have managed to catch his attention but none for any long term relationship. He's vain but still manages not to offend--he's just so good natured it's hard to take exception. Most who know him realize that he's good for a laugh, a wonderful time between the sheets, but should expect nothiing long term from him. He's a knack for picking women who are smart enough to realize this.

History of Persona:
Born Rahan, he was born and bred at River Bluff. From an early age he fell in love with the dragons and dreamed of Impressing. He turned to dragonhealing as an expression of his love of dragons in general. When he Impressed at Turn 18, he continued his studies, rising up in rank to Master. Having a dragon as a lifemate helps aide in diagnoses as Yarbreth is able to communicate with the dragon-patient, as well as calming them down when needed. Despite his carefree manner, he's diligent in his chosen craft and he's usually the first person others look to when there's an injury to a dragon's wings.

When Thread returned, R'han didn't think twice about wanting to be included in a fighting wing, although he often moves in to help after Threadfalls if there are any injuries.

Description of Dragon:
Yarbreth's colouring has darkened over the years but he's still a beast of impressive size and presence. Like his rider, he refuses to believe that the Turns have aged him, no matter how he might appreciate napping in the sun more and more.

As unaffected as R'han is vain, he's shown a preference for green dragons over the years--R'han tells him it's because he's too lazy to chase golds that often! Still, the bronze dragon has caught a junior gold or two in his lifetime.

He's known for his ability to calm almost any dragon down when injuried and he's well respected by younger dragons throughout the Weyr.
