Physical Description of Persona:
F'ren is somewhat tall, 6'0" even to be exact. The brownrider's shoulders are broad and thickly padded with muscle that leads down to a narrow waist, and toned legs that are neatly corded with muscle. F'ren has the usual amount of scars and scores for a man who has flown Thread for the past twelve Turns. F'ren walks with a loose-hipped gait and a sense of purpose, his head usually held high with confidence.

He has dark, auburn hair, and big klah brown eyes that have weather lines at the edges. The prominent scar on his left cheek lends him the grizzled air of a Threadfall veteran.

Emotional Description of Persona:
F'ren is confident but not arrogant. He is a man of few words. He enjoys people watching and observing others. Not an ambitious man, F'ren is a hard working man who felt pressured to take his Wingleader position when the Weyrleader 'volun-told' him about it. His silence can make him a little intimidating, and perhaps even 'crotchety,' but his bark is worse than his bite. His Wingriders complain that he is a taskmaster, but F'ren's Wing is also well-known for its low casualty rate.

He has several children, all from flights, but each have known the presence of their father in their lives.

History of Persona:
F'ren, born Falaren, grew up at River Bluff Weyr His mother a laundress and his father a bronzerider who had many children at other Weyrs as well. During his childhood, F'ren had plans on joining the harpercraft to be an archivist. He even managed to make Journeyman rank before he Impressed Aloroth at age twenty. Once Weyrlinghood was out of the way, F'ren continued working on his craft, a luxury that he had during the Interval. Once Threadfall returned, however, his priorities shifted.

Only a few Turns into the 10th Pass, River Bluff Weyr fell and he was forced to abandon the home of his childhood. Between the choices of Dolphin Cove or Dragonsfall, F'ren chose the steady leadership of Dragonsfall Weyr. Having been a Wingleader at River Blufff or a decade, F'ren was once again asked to take up a leadership role, serving as Plateau Wing's Wingleader.
