Physical Description of Persona:
Buxom is a good word to describe Nirian. At just over five foot, she is curvy in all the right places, with black hair that falls in waves just past her shoulders. She is particular about her appearance and hates being seen without makeup. Her attire tends to be bright colors and lots of jewelry. Her voice is expressive, ranging anywhere from a clear toned soprano to a husky alto.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Nirian is someone putting on a smile like she’s having a good time even though nothing in her life is going right. She’s someone who has watched other people get to succeed, fulfill their dreams, but for Nirian, all of that is seemingly out of reach. Thwarted, she feels stuck in life and unsure how to change it.

While this may be her driving force behind the scenes, publicly, Nirian is sassy, quick-witted, flirty, and a bit vain. She enjoys attention. She craves adventure, beauty, and novelty. While most people think Nirian is just being hedonistic, her one or two close friends know that Nirian is doing her best to live a full, meaningful life. She fears growing old with a pile of regrets.

History of Persona:
Nirian is the third child of five, born in Amber Hills. She grew up around wine and disliked it. As a child, she wanted to spend her time around runners or people. Extroverted, she always seemed to be the one to greet visitors, which only ended up in her being shooed away when someone more important than her arrived. At least runners didn’t chase her away. Any effort to Nirian to study was a lost cause -- the girl learned what she wanted and weaseled her way out of what she didn’t.

As a teenager, she was more than a handful. She was rebellious, fully expecting to escape the limited Hold life for something more.

Her older brother was Searched. She was not.

Nirian spent the next few Turns taking out her fury on anyone she could through verbal and emotional means. Her brother got a dragon, she got whershite marriage prospects. She even strung one poor guy along up until their wedding night before dumping him, purely out of spite. Eventually, her parents gave up trying to marry her off. With no other options in life in front of her, she fell back to working at the tavern.
