Physical Description of Persona:
Felarik stands about 5'11" and has a fair amount of muscle for his average build. His hair and eyes are both brown, dark enough to be called black by some. This, combined with a rather heavy brow, gives him a thoughtful, brooding look. He rarely smiles, though not for lack of a nice smile. His ears are slightly larger than normal, though it does not detract a bit from his general handsomeness. His left hand has a shiny burn scar across the back of it from a spill when he was 13. Besides that, his hands are thick, manly, and well-callused from his work.

Emotional Description of Persona:
In accordance with his appearance, Felarik is a thoughtful young man. His every action is planned and he always takes a pause to think before speaking. Growing up with many younger sisters has taught him comapssion and he is fiercely protective of them all, especially Denala. He has been known to lose his temper from time to time, but only in extreme situations. Felarik has a commanding presence, mostly by virtue of his quiet self-assurance. His father has fostered this quality in him and is certain he will make an excellent Master. While his father's dream for him is almost acceptable, Felarik wants more than anything to be a dragonrider. He feels it is his duty as an able-bodied young man to protect Pern from the silver menace if only a dragon would choose him.

History of Persona:
Felarik was born at the Smith Hall about two years after his father, Delarik, became a journeyman. Thus, his father was frequently traveling, leaving the family waiting for him at home. As Felarik started growing up, his father took him with him more often, which was a delight for Felarik. His father made Master just after Felarik turned 12. Instead of leaving him at the Hall to apprentice, his father brought him with the rest of the family to Amethyst Cliff Hold and took him on as his own apprentice. Felarik has always enjoyed learning from his father, but he is beginning to suspect that he is trying to create a mini-Delarik. He worries that his father may not let him go if he is Searched, but he is starting to lose the hope that that might happen.
